TECHMINDS MOBILIZATION DRIVE

 

  • TECHMINDS will conduct sustained mobilization drives during the entire project period so as to identify and train candidates in the projected volumes. The mobilization and aggregation of potential candidates will be done through the following means:
  • Awareness and publicity campaigns in local electronic/print media, road shows and organize meetings especially in SC, ST and Minority pockets in rural areas for selection of candidates.
  • Avail cooperation of the concerned Gram Panchayat, Block Level Officers and village level government machinery like Village Administrative officer, Thalayari etc.
  • Partnership with local Non-Governmental Agencies and Community Based Organizations (CBO) for mobilizing the youth, to maximize their advantage of local reach and impact.
  • Reach out to ‘Self-Help Groups’ through the Non-Governmental Agencies, banks, Cooperative banks and micro-finance institutions.
  • Mobilize through religious mechanisms, i.e. Missionaries, temple priests & poojaris and through masjids.
  • Garner support from local leaders, Panchayat chieftains, and other influential people (Zamindar, Naatamai etc.)
  • Approach district employment office and district collectorate to gather data of potential candidates.
  • Pamphlets and brochures in vernacular containing information about the training programs and the day and place of counselling will be distributed to the candidates.
  • Community halls, Panchayat offices, government schools or government libraries would be used to conduct the counselling sessions.

TECHMINDS TRAINING METHODOLOGY

In a nutshell, the training methodology advocates a learning environment based on an industry simulated model. TECHMINDS has identified suitable training content and delivery methods that will facilitate the trainees to acquire the required competency (the qualitative sum of knowledge, Skill sets and ability to learn and sustain the skills). The training will cover the importance of the role of training content, trainers, training process, continuous assessment and industrially accepted certification. Stress on practical skilling rather than theory-based education, enhancing employability.

Assessment and Certification are key mile stones in the project, linked to the continued success of the program. Candidates who successfully complete the assessments and get certified get immediate job placements in the industry, which paves the way for successful careers.

  • SSC/NCVT/Third Party certifications are awarded to successful candidates.

Placement & Post Placement Tracking

The objective of any skill training program is to provide a sustainable means to livelihood through Converting semi-skilled/ unskilled manpower into skilled employees. The candidates will be job placed in the hubs in the vicinity of their residences and for those willing to migrate, opportunities in other places will be provided. The option of self-employment/ entrepreneurship is provided to those who are unable to go for employment and wish to have home/ community based work. This is provided in the form of self-employment.
